An all-party meeting convened by Punjab Congress Chief Partap Singh Bajwa at Moga today to discuss the strategy to intensify the agitation against alleged deteriorating law and order situation in the state, has been postponed by a few days.

"The new date would be announced soon as the Communist parties were busy with their May 6 programme on the same issue," a statement quoting Bajwa said here.

Bajwa said that there have been talks with BSP in which its state leadership will discuss the matter with senior leadership in Delhi and then confirm.

Manpreet Singh Badal led Peoples Party of Punjab (PPP) and former governor Surjit Singh Barnala's Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD-Longowal) have already confirmed their participation in the all-party meeting, he said.

He said the death of a teenage girl after being molested and thrown off a moving Orbit bus at Moga was the "culmination of the jungle raj prevailing in the state.
