Punjab would have Ludhiana-Ferozepur expressway, Chandigarh-Patiala expressway, Patiala-Bathinda expressway, Chandigarh-Ludhiana expressway, Chandigarh-Phagwara-Jalandhar expressway, Amritsar-Tarntaran-Faridkot-Bathinda expressway and Ropar-Doraha expressway that would be completed within next three years, Sukhbir said.
Amritsar would be the next IT hub of the country as the Punjab Government has finalised a master plan of Rs 10,000 crore for its development, said the deputy CM.
He said that Punjab Government is going to set-up world class 'Trade Fair Centre' here on 20 acres of land while another center would be established at Mohali.
It was the focus of state government to curb red-tapism by introducing single window systems almost in all departments, besides bringing governance reforms on large scale, he said while presiding over a meeting with the industrialists of Amritsar in association with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
