Alleged IM operative deposes in Mumbai train blasts case

Sadik Israr Sheikh, an alleged co-founder of the terror group Indian Mujahideen, today deposed as defence witness in the special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court in the July 2006 Mumbai serial train blasts trial.

The accused in the train blasts case had recently filed an application in the court seeking to examine three IM accused held for other blasts in the country, including Sadik.

His deposition will continue tomorrow.
