An alleged woman drug smuggler was arrested and over 10 kg of smack valued at Rs two crore in the international market seized at her behest, police said here today.
The woman, identified as Simranjit Kaur, was arrested near the Urban Estate, IGP, Patiala Zone, Paramjit Singh Gill said.
As many as 10.5 kg of smack worth Rs two crore in the international market was seized from her house, he said adding a case under the NDPS Act was registered against Kaur.
The IGP said the woman used to live a lavish life, adding her brother and nephew were already in jail under the NDPS Act.
