Air India's regional arm Alliance Air today commenced its flight services to the Rajasthan capital city Jaipur from the Indira Gandhi International Airport here.
The flight AI 9I 643 will operate three times in a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays) with a 72-seater regional jet, ATR-72-600 aircraft, Air India said.
The inaugural flight to Jaipur and return received a massive response from passengers with 100 per cent booking, showcasing the long standing demand for such connectivity on the sector, it said.

The new flight to the pink city will not only boost tourism between the two states --Delhi and Rajasthan -- but will also offer better air connectivity for business community as well, it added.
The introduction of the new service is aimed at providing passengers an option to have a full working day and return to Delhi and Jaipur on the same day, the release said.
