Punjab Congress today alleged that the allocation of security personnel in the state ahead of the Lok Sabha polls has been made "politicised" amounting to directly influencing voters in favour of SAD-BJP ruling alliance.
In a complaint to the Election Commission, copies of which were released to media here, the Punjab Congress questioned the allocation of security personnel, terming it as "unfair, partisan and politically motivated".
The party said that the allocation was made on the "instructions" of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, who also holds the Home portfolio, and state DGP Sumedh Singh Saini.
