Almond california prices rose by Rs 100 per 40 kg at the wholesale dry fruits market in the national capital today on rising demand from retailers and stockists amid scarcity of stocks.
Almond (California) rose by Rs 100 to Rs 19,100-19,300 per 40 kg. Its kernel also went up by Rs 5 to Rs 690-700 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said rising demand from retailers and stockists against restricted arrivals from overseas markets mainly attributed the rise in almond and its kernel prices.
