In restricted activity, almond and its kernel prices rose by up to Rs 100 per 40 kg at the wholesale dryfruits market today on scattered demand from retailers.
However, other dryfruits held steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said mild demand from retailers mainly attributed the rise in almond and its kernel prices.
In the national capital, almond (California) rose by Rs 100 to Rs 16,600-17,000 per 40 kg. Its kernel also edged up by Rs 2 to Rs 597-607 per kg.
