Almond prices drifted down by Rs 200 per 40 kg at the wholesale dry fruit market in the national capital today owing to slackened demand.
However, other dry fruits held steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said easing demand from retailers and stocks against adequate stocks position, mainly weighed on almond and its kernel prices.
Almond California fell by Rs 200 to Rs 19,300-19,500 per 40 kg. Its kernel also shed Rs 15 to Rs 695-705 per kg.
