Designer duo Alpana and Neeraj's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection saw an eclectic mix of dark and gothic look to present the nomadic culture at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW).
The NIFT graduates, who made their runway debut in 2008 and also represented India in Miami and Milan Fashion Weeks, used a lot of layering techniques in their well-structured outfits comprised of long and short dresses.
Bejewelled leather gloves and neon dresses added a Bohemian spirit to the models who sashayed down the ramp with spooky music at the backdrop.
"We wanted to present the free-spirited woman through our collection. With dark colours and gothic look, we presented the mystique of night," said the designer duo, whose last fall's collection presented a unique blend of carpentry and woodwork with fashion.
