Aluminium prices edged higher by 0.37 per cent to Rs 122.75 per kg in futures trade today as speculators raised bets amid firm global cues.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July went up by 45 paise, or 0.37 per cent, to Rs 122.75 per kg in a business turnover of 2,651 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in August was trading higher by 45 paise, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 123.75 per kg in 280 lots.
Analysts said expanding of positions by participants in line with a firm trend in base metals in global markets, mainly influenced aluminium prices at futures trade.
