Aluminium futures fell 0.26% to Rs 113.55 per kg today as speculators reduced positions amid a weak trend in base metals at the London Metal Exchange.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery this month lost 30 paise, or 0.26%, to Rs 113.55 per kg, with a business turnover of 313 lots.
The metal for delivery in February also shed 15 paise, or 0.22%, to trade at Rs 114.30 per kg in a turnover of five lots.
Marketmen said a weak trend in the base metals pack at the London Metal Exchange after China's factory-gate prices extended a record run of declines, put pressure on aluminium prices at futures trade here.
