Aluminium prices weakened by 0.10 per cent to Rs 104 per kg in futures trading today as participants trimmed positions, driven by subdued demand from from consuming industries in the spot market.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May month shed 10 paise, or 0.10 per cent to Rs 104 per kg in business turnover of 217 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in June contracts eased by 5 paise, or 0.05 per cent to Rs 104.85 per kg in 6 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by traders due to tepid demand from consuming industries in the spot market mainly influenced aluminium prices at futures trade.
