"There are many who believe that nuclear energy will be the solution to our energy deficit, but there are issues of human security and safety involved. Examples of disaster in different parts of the world are before us...Is the risk worth taking?" she asked.
She was addressing a conference here on renewable energy and climate change organised by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
