Professional services company Alvarez & Marsal today added corporate finance and commercial due diligence to its list of offerings in the country.
It also announced a top level management rejig, which included hiring two business heads from the rival KPMG.
"Private equity firms and strategic acquirers require an integrated due diligence approach to achieve corporate and shareholder objectives," the firm said in a statement.
The company elevated Vikram Utamsingh as the co-head for the operations in the country, while Nandini Chopra and Manish Saigal have been appointed as managing directors for corporate finance and commercial due diligence, respectively.
Chopra comes to the company from the rival consultancy firm KPMG, where she was a partner in the corporate finance practise, leading merger and acquisitions in the consumer and retail sectors.
Saigal led the global strategy group at KPMG India, which involved working with private equity and financial firms, and also logistics companies, the company said.
