Amanda Bynes charged with two counts of hit-and-run cases

The "Hairspray" star pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) after colliding with a police car in West Hollywood in April. The case was eventually thrown out as there were no independent witnesses to the incident.

But prosecutors in Los Angeles re-opened the case after she was accused of another smash and dash last month, reported TMZ.

Bynes is due in court on September 27 and faces a year behind bars if convicted.
