Actress Amanda Seyfried is in talks to join the cast of Oscar host Seth MacFarlane's 'A Million Ways to Die in the West', his follow-up to hit 'Ted'.
If the deal comes through, Seyfried will join Charlize Theron and MacFarlane, who is starring in, directing and co-writing the Western comedy with modern sensibilities, the Hollywood Reporter said.
The film revolves around a sheepish farmer who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his girlfriend leave him. When he meets a notorious outlaw's wife (Theron) who offers to teach him how to shoot, the farmer sees a chance to win back his love.
Seyfried would play the girlfriend. The production is slated to begin in May this year.
The actress was recently seen in Oscar nominated musical 'Les Miserables' where she played the role of Cosette. She also stars in much hyped Linda Lovelace biopic 'Lovelace'.
