Amara Raja Batteries today posted 7.71 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 102.34 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 95.01 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 1,059.55 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014, as against Rs 859.95 crore in the year-ago period, Amara Raja Batteries said in a filing to the BSE.
Shares of the company today closed at Rs 891 apiece on the BSE, up 4.92 per cent from its previous close.
