Amarinder wishes success to Jaitely

After trading acrid charges during poll campaigning, Congress MP Amarinder Singh today wished success to Union minister Arun Jaitley, whom he defeated on Amritsar seat.

The former Punjab chief minister hoped that Jaitley's appointment will help Punjab.

Wishing Jaitely "well and success" the former chief minister reminded him the promises he made to the city before the Lok Sabha polls.

The BJP leader had purchased a house in Amritsar before the polls and had promised to transform the city.

Amarinder Singh defeated Jaitley with a margin of nearly 90,000 votes.
