Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash today did not attend the Delhi Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, amid a row over allegation that he was assaulted by a few AAP MLAs.
Two major decisions were taken in the meeting, which was held at the chief minister's residence, as the atmosphere at the secretariat was "not conducive", Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia told reporters.
The chief secretary is also the cabinet secretary.

A senior official said, "It (cabinet meeting) was not attended by the chief secretary. Instead, the acting chief secretary (Manoj Kumar Parida) attended the cabinet meeting."
Prakash was allegedly assaulted by a few AAP MLAs at the chief minister's residence in presence of Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia last night. However, the chief minister's office dismissed the accusation as "bizarre and baseless", while the AAP has termed the accusation "ludicrous".
According to an official, Prakash was called by Kejriwal regarding the issue of advertisements, which were not being released. But, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) claimed that he had been called for a discussion on rations.
