The Vigilance Department today arrested an amin (land surveyor) on graft charge from Bihar's Madhepura district, an official release said.
Acting on a complaint, a Vigilance Investigation Bureau (VIB) team laid a trap and arrested the land surveyor red handed as soon as he took Rs 10,000 as bribe at his private office from the complainant, the release said.
He had demanded bribe for submission of land survey report of the complainant, it said.

The land surveyor is being brought to Patna for interrogation before production in a designated vigilance court, the release said.
The Vigilance Department has laid 31 traps and arrested 32 government servants on graft charge, it added.
