The state BJP has the target of enrolling one crore members in the state.

Maharashtra BJP president Raosaheb Danve, Mumbai unit chief Ashish Shelar, and spokesperson Keshav Upadhye were among those who met Shah, who was in the city for a business news-channel event.

The state BJP leaders informed Shah that 31 lakh members have been enrolled and the drive was progressing well, BJP sources said.

"BJP president Amit Shah has tasked us with enrolling one crore members and we will work to complete the task," Danve said.
