BJP President Amit Shah will embark on a day-long visit to Uttarakhand on May 3 to address a state party meet.
"BJP President Amit Shah will be on a day-long visit to Uttarakhand on May 3," state BJP President Tirath Singh Rawat said.
During his visit, Shah will address a party meet at Survey of India in Dehradun, in which party MPs, MLAs, working committee members, party front conveners and district presidents would participate, he said.

Asked about whether the BJP president would analyse the defeats in the recent Legislative Assembly by-polls during his visit, Rawat replied in the negative.
The party, which had won from all the five Lok Sabha seats in the state in 2014, faced a drubbing in the last four Legislative Assembly by-polls.
