Fondly remembering Zohra Sehgal, Shah Rukh Khan today recalled how even at the the age of 102, the actress was the "naughtiest young girl" he ever came across while Amitabh Bachchan said her "spirit" was admirable.
Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar also took to Twitter to pay a tribute to the grand dame of Bollywood, who last evening in a hospital in the capital following a cardiac arrest.
"Zohra Sehgal ji ek behtreen theatre artist aur film actress thi. Unko meri bhavpurna shraddhanjali (Zohra Sehgal was a great theatre and film artiste. My heartfelt tribute to her.)," Mangeshkar, 84, tweeted.

"A journey of million miles overloaded with smiles. Even at a 100 plus I have yet to meet a naughtier young girl. Will miss you Zohra," SRK posted on Twitter.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who had worked with Sehgal in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham' and 'Cheeni Kum', tweeted his condolences from Brazil.
"Zohra Sehgal... She epitomised life, living and its zest .. A spirit that could shame a teenager, and a smile that lit up," Bachchan posted.
Actress-turned-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, who worked with Zohra in '1997 film 'Tamanna', shared an anecdote about how the legendary actress wanted champagne instead of tea or coffee on sets of the film.
"A long life is not what I seek. A full life? Yes indeed. Dear God-May I have the gall & desire for champagne & life a la. Had the privilege of working with her on my first film as a producer- 'Tamanna'. 'Champagne' she exclaimed when offered tea or coffee," Bhatt posted.
Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha said, "Very sad to hear about Zohra Sehgal's demise. 102 years of greatness. RIP Zohra Sehgal.
