Amritsar girl separated from kin at Jammu station, restored to parents

A 12-year-old girl, who got separated from her family at the Jammu Railway Station, was traced by the railway police and restored to her parents, the railways police said today.

The girl, identified as Pooja from Amritsar, got separated from her kin at Jammu in the morning yesterday and reached the Katra Railway station in the Malwa Express, they said.

A team of railway police swung into action and found her parents by the evening yesterday, they said, adding she was restored to them after completing legal formalities.
