The US-based direct seller Amway today said it does not charge any entry or exit fee from its distributors against the backdrop of the government's decision to ban any such fee.
The direct selling major maintained that it complies with the highest standard of industry code of ethics.
"Amway India does not charge any entry fee, and distributors are free to exit anytime and all unsold inventories will be re-purchased by the company," Amway India spokesperson said in a statement.

He added: "All of Amway's products are backed by a generous refund policy, allowing Amway distributors to try the business or their customers to try the product. (We) extend this commitment to the consumer and distributor protection."
Amway has also welcomed the government's move to release guidelines for the direct selling industry.
"We are happy to note that the consumer affairs ministry will soon be releasing guidelines for direct selling industry which has been long-standing demand," he said.
