Actress Amy Poehler says she despises gambling as she cannot bear losing her money.
The 45-year-old actress, who stars in the film "The House" as one half of a couple who opens an illicit casino, says she becomes "grouchy" when her cash is at risk, reported New York Daily News newspaper.
"We had to spend some time in Las Vegas. I realised that I get too grouchy when I lose my money. Like my trip is ruined when I have to hand over my money to a man in a shiny vest. I would much rather have a very fancy dinner and go see Britney (Spears)," Poehler says.
The comedy is directed by Andrew J Cohen and also stars Will Ferrell, Ryan Simpkins, Jason Mantzoukas, Nick Kroll, Allison Tolman, Michaela Watkins, Cedric Yarbrough and Jeremy Renner.
