'The Girls' creator Lena Dunham will be joined by celebrity friends on her upcoming book tour.
Dunhan is scheduled to promote her new essay collection 'Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She's Learned' in September and October, reported New York Times.
Dunham is kicking off the tour on September 30 in New York City with special guest Amy Schumer at the Barnes & Noble store in Union Square.

Subsequent guests on the trek include writer Jenni Konner, comic Morgan Murphy, Portlandia's Carrie Brownstein and 'Girls' actress Jemima Kirke.
Local talent can also apply to be an opening act for Dunham's talks on her official website.
Dunham inked a deal with Random House to pen 'Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She's Learned' back in 2012.
