Nayanthara starrer bilingual venture 'Anaamika' is all set to hit theatres on October 14.
Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film, which is an adaptation of Vidya Balan's starrer Bollywood film 'Kahaani', is currently in its final stages of shooting with the cast here.
"It's an honour to have worked with a critically acclaimed and award winning director like Sekhar. I am thrilled to be a part of this project which gave me an opportunity to play a strong female character. With a completely new look in 'Anaamika' I hope that the audiences would appreciate the film and my role," Nayanthara said in a statement.

"My love and passion for movie making gets bigger and better with a film like 'Anaamika'. This adaptation in design and appearance of the characters is completely different and I hope it excites my audience. It's always challenging to make interesting movies and Anaamika is a challenge I have thoroughly enjoyed," Kammula said.
The film's music and background score is composed by National Award winning music director M M Keervani, who has given chart topping tunes to over 200 South films.
