The tournament is sanctioned by the World Squash Federation (WSF) as a World Junior circuit Tier-3 event, by the Asian Squash Federation as an Asian Squash Super Series Gold event and an SRFI 4 Star Event.
A record number of 410 entries have been received from France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Iran, Iraq, Nepal and hosts India.
The event is organised by the SRFI with support from the TNSRA and the Indian Squash Academy. There will be 10 categories in this event - Boys and Girls (under 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19).
