Anamika Khanna costume designer of 'Lakme Fashion Week'

Designer Anamika Khanna will be the Grand Finale costume crafter for 'Lakme Fashion Week' this year roping in a Bollywood heroine as her show stopper.

"My collection range will be in sync with the Summer/Resort 2015 beauty statement SCULPT, a part of the Lake Fashion Week's 15-year celebrations," Anamika said here.

Anamika, the Grand Finale Designer for Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015, said, "I have attempted to infuse Sculpt into Indian shapes."

"My collection will have a mix of ethereal and strong at the same time, revisiting the Indian craft. The colour palette will include vivid corals and reds to bold pinks and plums, all summer brights merging with washed but intense primary colours, ivory remaining a constant and black, forever," she said.
 

Purnima Lamba, Head of Innovation, said she was happy ahead of the premier fashion show, Lakme's newest trend 'Sculpt' debuted in the 'city of joy' and inspired by a fresh wave in high fashion around the globe.
