An ancient idol of Lord Krishna has been stolen from a temple in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district, police said today.
The idol was found missing yesterday morning when gate of an ancient temple, situated in Shahpura town, was opened by the priest, following which an FIR was lodged, they said.
"The more than 300-year-old idol was selectively picked by the thieves as other idols and gold and silver ornaments were untouched," police said.
