In the wake of protests in Tamil Nadu against gunning down of 20 woodcutters by Andhra Pradesh police, officials of Andhra Bank branch here found a way out to prevent angry outfits targeting their bank by pasting a poster saying all its employees are Tamils.

They put out a poster which said "this Andhra Bank does not belong to Andhra Pradesh Government. It is owned by Government of India. All the employees of this bank are Tamils".

The bank officials said their "simple solution" worked and the branch was not attacked.
