Andhra CM hits campaign trail

Addressing a roadside meeting, he alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy, who floated YSR Congress Party, had nexus with several persons who had criminal background.

Speaking on the visit of Jagan to the Tirumala temple here recently and his reportedly declining to sign on the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams declaration book that he has faith in Lord Venkateswara, Reddy said one should respect the sentiments and age-old practices of the shrine, managed by TTD.

He also termed TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu as an "invalid currency note" as the people of the state have "lost faith" in him.

Reddy was accompanied by actor turned politician K Chiranjeevi and PCC President B Satyanarayana.

 

In a triangular contest to the Tirupati seat, M Venkata Ramana of Congress is taking on former TTD Chairman B Karunakara Reddy who is contesting on YSRCP ticket and TDP candidate Chadalawada Krishna Murthy.
