Actor Andy Serkis has hinted that he might come back to do more films in the "Planet of the Apes" series.

The 53-year-old actor said with the advancement in technology via CGI (computer generated imagery), it is possible for him to play the another version of his character, the intelligent chimpanzee Caesar, reported CinemaBlend.

"Well, let's say that there have been some discussions about that.

"That's the great thing about this technology, is that it allows you... As I have done, going from playing Caesar as a young infant to a mature adult, though the entirety of his life. So that basically means I could potentially play another character," Serkis said.

The actor has also lent his voice to many popular parts, such as Gollum from "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and the title role in "King Kong".
