Anil Jain elected head of Bharat Scouts & Guides

BJP National General Secretary and in-charge of Haryana and Chhattisgarh, Anil Jain was today elected as the president of the Bharat Scouts and Guides.

Jain took over the charge of the organisation here.

Interacting with media persons, he said, scouting is art of living and its helps individuals develop a better personality over a period of time.

He said scouting has 107 year of history in the country and in 216 countries scouting activities take place with about its 4 million members.

About 57 lakh youths in India are participating in scouting, he said.

Jain said effective steps will be taken for increasing participation of youths in scouting in the country in a big way and steps would also be taken for making Bharat Scouts & Guides Organisation more responsive, effective, relevant and reliable.
