Anirudh, 26, will be seen in body-hugging police uniform with rippling biceps and triceps, shades that hang from his belt and the unmistakable swagger for his character.
"The silver screen has seen some impressive police inspectors played by prominent actors over the last three decades... But nobody can beat Salman Khan when it comes to style and swagger. The screen just lights up when he makes an entry and you can't take your eyes off him," he said in a statement.
The show, which will air on Zee TV from today, will highlight the importance of being a housewife and the challenges that calls for resourcefulness, creativity and tact.
The TV actor said he has added his own qualities too to the role of Kanhaiyya.
"While Salman Bhai is simply inimitable, I have tried to add my own personal touch, flair and charm to the role. The show is a light-hearted drama with a lot of wit, spunk and we all have amazing lines that will stay on in the minds of the viewers. Let's hope the audience enjoys my performance!," he added.
