In the second set, a confident Ankita lead 3-1, but Barbara, who had taken a medical time out, came back strongly to break the Indian's service twice and lead 4-3.
Ankita broke back and held on to her service game to lead 5-4. Barbara served extremely well to win the next game, conceding only one point. The players traded serve breaks in the 11th and 12th games to take the set into a tiebreak.
