Fifth-seeded Ankita Raina, national champion Prerna Bhambri and qualifier Pranjala Yadlapalli entered the quarterfinals in the USD 25000 Endurance Aurangabad Open Women's ITF Tennis Championships here today.
In the second round matches played today, Ankita, the highest ranked Indian in fray, fought back from 1-6 down in the second set tie-breaker to record a 6-0 7-6 (7) win over Sneha Devi Reddy in a two-hour match.
Prerna made heavy weather of her match against Indian compatriot Dhruti Venugopal, losing the second set, before recovering to win 6-2 5-7 6-1 and make it to the last-eight.

Top-seeded Valeriya Strakhova of Ukraine outplayed Russian Margarita Lazareva 6-1 6-2 to make the last eight stage. She will take on eighth-seeded Ching-Wen Hsu of Taipei, who scored an easy 6-2 6-1 win over Thailand's Nicha Lertpitaksinchai.
Russian Ekaterina Yashina upset another Thai, sixth-seeded Nudnida Luangnam 6-1 2-6 6-3 and will meet Prerna in the last eight.

one hour to dispose of Riya Bhatia 6-2 6-3 and will clash with Pranjala for a place in the semis.
Second-seeded Tadeja Majeric played an unusual match, winning 6-0, 0-6, 6-0 against Taipei's Pei-Chi Lee and will take on Ankita in the quarter finals tomorrow.
