Social activist Anna Hazare will be on a two-day visit to the state capital from February 26 to garner support for the proposed 'satyagrah' in Delhi to demand for the appointment of Jan Lokpal.
"Anna will engage in various programmes on February 26 in Lucknow and on February 27 he will be in Sitapur and will leave for Pune on February 28 morning," coordinator of the 'India Against Corruption' (IAC) volunteers' association said.
He said that the 'satyagrah' will rake the issue of plights of farmers and electoral reforms that India needs urgently.
Hazare, who has been the face of the Lokpal movement, had last year chosen March 23 to launch the agitation 'satyagrah' as it happens to be the 'Shaheed Diwas' (Martyr's Day).
