Coming out in support of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, social activist Anna Hazare today met her amidst speculation that he will back the West Bengal Chief Minister as the Prime Ministerial candidate.

"Today we discussed together. There are 17 issues on which discussion took place. We discussed and she agreed to implement the 17 issues after coming to power. We will implement some of them earlier," Hazare said after meeting Mamata here.

Lauding Mamata's simplicity, Hazare said "she is living a simple life. She is not using government's car, bungalow nor salary. Who does all this these days?"

"The country wants this kind of leadership. Tomorrow we will explain it in details about the 17-point agenda", the anti-graft crusader said.

On the 17-point agenda of Hazare are land acquisition, FDI in retail and black money among other issues.

Mamata welcomed social activist at the TMC party office by touching the Gandhian's feet.

Hazare's support for Banerjee comes at a time when AAP's Arvind Kejriwal is also trying to woo him to support his outfit in coming Lok Sabha polls.

The Social activist lamented the state of affairs of the country after 66 years of independence.

"The poor are not getting justice and farmers' condition has deteriorated," he said.

However, Hazare said, "today I see a possibility of changes and I am beginning to believe that change will come. There will be a change in the country and people also want it. I think that changing time is coming.
