The twins, whose genders and names have not yet been revealed, are the first kids for the Oscar-winning actress, reported Us magazine.
"We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world. The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed," a representative for the couple has said.
Paquin, 30, who wed Moyer, 42, in summer 2010 after falling in love on the sets of the hit TV series 'True Blood'.
Moyer is already a father to two kids, Lilac, 10, and Billy, 12, from previous relationships.
