Oscar winning actress Anne Hathaway has given birth to her first child with her actor husband Adam Shulman.
Hathaway's representative confirmed the news that the couple welcomed a baby boy named Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman early on March 24 in Los Angeles, reported E! online.
"The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in Los Angeles. Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents," a source said.

The two started dating in late 2008 after meeting through mutual friends and by November 2011 Shulman had popped the question.
Hathaway confirmed her baby news in January this year, when she took to Instagram and posted a photo of herself posing in a two-piece red bikini on a beach while cupping her hands around a large belly bump.
She added the caption, "Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends (sic)!... So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed.
"I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy... Wishing you love, light and blessings for the year ahead!... Annie.
