Singer-songwriter Annie Lennox's daughter, Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann, was involved in a kayaking accident.

She and her boyfriend, Ian Jones, were kayaking in the Hudson River near the Staatsburgh State Historic Site when they capsized. Neither wore lifejackets, reported People magazine.

Tali, 22, and Ian, 32, were separated in the water when their boat flipped. She was saved uninjured by a passing boat. Search party involving the Sheriff's Office's Marine Patrol and dive team combed the area on Saturday and resumed Sunday to search for her beau who is still missing.

"The current in the Hudson River is very strong and we believe the current played a role in the kayak capsizing, and once the two got in the water it was difficult for them to stay together," Dutchess County Sheriff's Captain John Watterson said.

"We're doing everything we can to find him. We hope to find him alive and well."

Besides the strong current, police believed "alcohol may have played a role" in the accident.
