One more person has been arrested in connection with the killing of a policeman here about ten months back.
Superintendent of Police, Amethi, Hira Lal said Special Operation Group in-charge Sunil Yadav and SHO Amethi Mohammad Hamid in a joint operation arrested Arvind Singh alias Kallu Singh, a trader and manager of a college, who was involved in the killing of police constable Vijay Kumar Mishra.
Mishra had died in firing in September outside Bhupati Bhawan in Ramnagar area, whose ownership is being claimed by several people of the royal family of Amethi.
Mishra was part of the police deployment outside the Bhawan when trouble broke out over the ownership of the property.
On July 4, police had arrested Anant Vikram Singh, estranged son of Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, in connection with this case.
