Amid the rising uproar caused by the suicide of a Rajasthan farmer at an AAP rally on Wednesday, another farmer today committed suicide by hanging himself from tree here in Khairabad area, police said here.
52-year-old Ram Singh was disturbed by damage to his crops and was also having loan from a bank, his family members claimed adding that he needed money for his son's marriage.
Police said that the body has been sent for post mortem.
Additional District Magistrate Sarvesh Dixit said that a probe would be conducted into reasons behind Singh's suicide.
He said that estimation of crop loss to Singh would be done and compensation would be given to family soon.
