Another hazy morning in city

Delhiites woke up to a smoke-filled hazy morning with the minimum temperature settling at 17.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.

Humidity was recorded at 90 per cent. The visibility at Safdarjung and Palam observatories was 600 metres respectively at 8.30 am.

The blanket of haze over Delhi thickened on Friday morning with the national capital's pollution levels increasing overnight by around 50 points, taking the overall air quality index to 459.

The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 31 degrees Celsius and the minimum on Saturday is likely to be around 17 degrees Celsius.

There is possibility of mist/smoke on Saturday morning.

 

On Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 16.8 degrees Celsius.
