Another hot day in Delhi, mercury settles at 41.6 deg C

It was yet another hot day in the national capital with maximum temperature settling two notches above the season's average at 41.6 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature was recorded a notch above normal at 29 degrees Celsius while the humidity levels oscillated between 56 and 30 per cent, a MeT department official said.

The MeT department has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow. "The skies will be partly cloudy tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 41 and 29 degrees respectively," the weatherman said.

Both the maximum and minimum temperature yesterday had settled two notches above the season's average at 41.3 and 29.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
