A day after Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) vice president Manak Agrawal resigned from his post, another party leader of the same rank, Premchand Guddu also quit his post today on the issue of distribution of tickets during the ensuing civic polls.

After resigning, he told reporters here today that nominees for the civic polls were declared without consulting senior leaders. Guddu said that ticket distribution lacked transparency.

He refused to share more details about his resignation stating that he hasn't resigned from the primary membership of the party.

The former Dalit MP said that he would raise the issue of ticket distribution at an appropriate forum in the party.
