After ministers in Vasundhara Raje- led government in Rajasthan, now chairman of review cell of problems related to inter-state water distribution Rohitashv Sharma accused senior BJP MLA Ghanshyam Tiwari of misusing his position to acquire premium land in Jaipur and Sikar.

Tiwari and his family have nearly 400 bigha of land in the name of companies formed by his family, Sharma told reporters here today.

Claiming that the BJP MLA was born in a simple family, he said "now public wants to know how they have acquired such big tract of land. Who is investing in more than half a dozen companies?"

Sharma alleged that Tiwari was running seven dozen companies from his Ramnagar Shyam Nagar residence, where he had installed dozens of air conditioners, computers and employed many people and using it for commercial purposes.

He also alleged that Tiwari and his family was using the companies to convert black money into white.

Earlier, Rajasthan cabinet ministers Prabhulal Saini and Yunus Khan had levelled similar allegations, following which Tiwari had slapped them with a legal notice.

The rebel BJP leader had also sent an open letter to all party MLAs urged them to "stand up to save the values and traditions of the democracy" and unite for getting the suspension of the MLAs including Hanuman Beniwal and Manoj Nyangli revoked who were suspended on disciplinary grounds.

Tiwari has been targeting Raje ever since she became the chief minister. Despite being a senior party leader, he was not given a ministerial berth.

Earlier this month, he was served a show cause notice by the party for "anti-party activities".

In his two strongly-worded replies, Tiwari had attacked Raje, calling her "queen of indiscipline", and questioned the central leadership for not taking action against her.
